For Steve Wishard, founder of Media Rapids, the development of the unique skill set necessary began to come together in the latter half of the 1970s. Already over a half decade into a manufacturing operations management career, he was first introduced to Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines around 1976. The arrival of that first machine would mark the begining of a facnination with, and passion for, computers that continues to this day. About a year and a half later, he was given his first 35mm SLR camera as a gift. That too would become one of his passions in life. And now, as we stand here in 2010, everything that Media Rapids is and everything that Media Rapids does, can be traced back to one of those 2 event from over 30 years ago.
Media Rapids now offers web and mobile application development services. Due to or many years of experience in both information technology and business, we understand the importance of both efficient, properly designed, systems and a healthy bottom line. Achieving both of these goals requires an understanding of which systems warrant updating and which do not. And, which IT functions are practical to deploy to mobile devices and which are not.
